Poster Scraps: Athens, Greece is offered in 5 sizes, as listed below.  At each size, only 20 prints will be made, for a total of 100 prints.  Each print is personally signed, dated, and numbered.

The following prices are in Canadian dollars, for the print only, not including taxes or shipping.  Payment is accepted by credit card, cheque, or money order.

24" x 36" (20 Available):  $440

Fully 2 feet by 3 feet, this size makes a grand impression, forming an excellent focal point for a very large space.  Every detail in the photograph is stunningly rendered, making this an excellent size for distant viewing.

20" x 30" (20 Available):  $320

Still a very large print, this size is for spaces that can't quite accommodate a fully sized print.  Details are large and distinct: this print size can be viewed from a comfortable distance.

16" x 24" (20 Available):  $240

A mid-sized print, this size works well in most spaces, either alone in smaller rooms or with other work in larger spaces.  Fine details reveal themselves on close inspection, making this an excellent size for close-up viewing.

11" x 16.5" (20 Available):  $140

A smaller print, this size is good for very small spaces, or where wall space is limited by other works.  Very fine details are somewhat suppressed at this size, but the photograph still reveals fascinating patterns close up.

8" x 12" (20 Available):  $100

The smallest available, this size is only 1 foot along its longest dimension.  This size of print inevitably suppresses some finer details, though they can be seen using weak magnification.

I personally create, process, print and inspect every photograph that I sell.  All of the photographs on this website are printed to the highest quality possible.  My prints do not disappoint!

Top The Printing Process

To print a photograph, I first digitize each 35mm film frame using a specialized film scanner.  For colour photographs, I carefully match the photograph's colours and tones to the original slide.  For black and white photographs, I interpret the scene for the second time, adjusting the photograph's tone and contrast to show the subject in a new way.  After the office work is done, I send the file for printing on the legendary Cymbolic Sciences Lightjet 5000 printer.

Lightjet photographic prints provide the truest and most vivid photographic print experience available today.  Colours are brilliant, tones are rich and details are crisp, even in the largest prints.  The Lightjet photographic process uses lasers to expose top-quality archival photographic paper, resulting in a crisp, detailed print that will remain colourful and true to its original state for generations.  All prints are printed on professional matte photographic paper.

Top Framing and Displaying

Lightjet prints can be matted and framed just like regular photographic prints.  Alternative mounting processes, like plaque mounting or plexiglass mounting, can be used to create a very modern look.  The empty space surrounding the print should be about half as wide as the short side of the print.  (For example, an 8" x 12" print should have about a 4" border.)

Photographic prints of any kind look their best when properly lit.  Strong, white overhead light is recommended, pointed onto the print if possible.  To reduce distracting reflections, avoid facing a photograph towards a window.
