If you are learning and growing as an artist, your photographic style should gradually change throughout your artistic career. (First published Jan 21, 2009)A Few New photoshttps://www.markraymondmason.com/W03792.phphttps://www.markraymondmason.com/W03792.phpSat, 09 Mar 2019 15:18:59 -0500It's becoming common for there to be a year (or two) between posts! Life can be very busy with work and family, and photography can take a back seat at times. However, I've found a pocket of time to upload 7 new photos from the past year or so. The new work is mainly black and white, from around home in Salmon Arm and also from few trips to Vancouver. Looking forward to a trip to Utah this Spring and also a family trip to France and Italy in 2020! Stay tuned! All Cuba Photos Uploaded!http://www.markraymondmason.com/W01436BW.phphttp://www.markraymondmason.com/W01436BW.phpTue, 18 Apr 2017 01:10:41 -0400This is easily the most photography I've produced in a year, let alone in a couple of months! It will take awhile for everything to gel in my mind and decide which photos I like and which weren't so good after all! I was experimenting with areas outside of my comfort zone, including some photos of people, so the new work is bound to have a different feel than some folks might be used to. Putting this in place was the hard part, but now I'll be able to easily add more filters as I think of them. I might even be able to list photos by location, or photos that have seen the most mentions in social media! Check out the Galleries to try it!15 Photography Gallerieshttp://www.markraymondmason.com/gallery15.phphttp://www.markraymondmason.com/gallery15.phpSat, 15 Apr 2017 00:50:21 -0400I've added another black and white gallery, making 15 galleries in total. Of course, photography that doesn't fit into the main galleries is housed in the ever-growing More Photos section. With all the recent work from Cuba, I'm having trouble fitting everything into the existing space! There may be more galleries added soon, and I'm working on pages to show my favourite photographs, the most recent creations, and more!Arching Tree, Sleeping Figure, Moonlighthttp://www.markraymondmason.com/W00809.phphttp://www.markraymondmason.com/W00809.phpSun, 09 Apr 2017 13:46:39 -0400Some photographs from Cuba are starting to appear around my website, including this one that I'm quite pleased with. For the first few days of the trip, the moon was out in the first hours of night-time, and I was struck by the juxtaposition of the natural beauty over the ruined cities. Throughout the trip, I enjoyed making photos in the night, but the first experiences were some of the most memorable.
